This programme develops understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) practices for controlling hazardous energy during maintenance, servicing and intervention activities. It focuses on preventing unexpected start-up, movement or energy release that could injure personnel.

Participants learn energy-source identification, isolation, lock and tag application, verification, group LOTO considerations, restoration to service and the roles of authorized and affected personnel.
