Understand the Programme

This programme develops practical awareness and safe-work practices for safe chemical handling and control. It helps personnel recognise chemical hazards, understand labels and Safety Data Sheets, select appropriate controls and respond correctly to exposure or spill situations.

Participants review storage, segregation, PPE, transfer, housekeeping, emergency response and reporting requirements with a strong emphasis on preventing incidents and protecting people, property and the environment.
